About Us

All Sign Solutions is owned and was founded by Lynda Carter in 1984.
When Lynda was young, her grandfather was a sign writer, and for many years she would observe him painting signs in the garden for his own business. This inspired Lynda, and she soon decided that she would like to follow in his footsteps one day.
As soon as Lynda graduated from Canterbury College of Art (now University for the Creative Arts), she began making plans to set up her own business. Soon after, in the summer of 1984, All Sign Solutions was founded.
Over the years the company adapted as technology advanced, and computers became essential for designing and producing signs and graphics. CAD and CAM software were the way forward, and are still used to this day – although using Gold Leaf or hand painting the occasional project is still enjoyable.
All Sign Solutions has also adapted and changed as employees have come and gone too. Currently there are six people working for the company. In the past various people have been taken on for work experience – two of whom have been hired as a result of this. People are still regularly taken on for work experience, giving them a taste of what it is like to work for a small graphics company.
All Sign Solutions sets itself apart from other similar businesses by welcoming any new challenges with open arms. They are large and experienced enough to take on more complex or larger jobs, while also being small and humble enough to care about every customer. Every project is treated as precious, and the ultimate satisfaction is gained from seeing a customer’s reaction to their idea transforming into reality.
Lynda was a founding member of the Thanet Business Network (2001), and went on to launch the Thanet Premier Business Group in 2012, Lynda was also on the committee of the Thanet Chamber of Commerce, and moved up to Vice Chair when it became Thanet & East Kent Chamber. In 2003 All Sign Solutions was awarded with the TDC Small Business Award. Lynda is also an active member of the Rotary Club raising money for their local charities with in it.
Today All Sign Solutions provides high quality, bespoke products such as banners, vehicle livery, shop fronts and road signs. Unique to our customers.

FAQ

What times are you open?

We are open from Mondays to Fridays 9am-5pm on weekdays and we are closed for Bank Holidays.

 

Can I make an appointment?

You can phone us on 01843 232016 to make an appointment. We do stay open past 5pm if you can’t make it between 9am and 5pm and can make exceptions for weekends too.

 

Do you offer a measurement service?

We do offer to come out and measure.

 

Do you offer fitting of signage?

We do offer a services come and fit artwork and signage.

 

Do you offer any maintenance on signage?

We can come out and advise on the maintenance and cleaning that is needed, this can be a one-off or an annual check as required.

 

Do I need planning permission for shop signage?

If you do we can help you with applying for planning permission at the local councils’ planning office and provide you with scaled drawings.

 

Can you create custom health and safety signs?

Yes, we can customise it to suit your safety needs and supplied on a variety of different materials and sizes.

 

What types of lorry graphics do you make?

We can make full colour prints, to cut vinyl graphics on solid panels. Unfortunately we do not create lorry sheets.

 

Do you print on paper?

We don’t print on paper, however we can design business cards and flyers and you can have them printed elsewhere.

 

Can you design logos for my business?

Yes, we can work with your ideas or create our own for you to start from scratch.

 

I have a logo design, can this be cut in vinyl?

If you have an ai, svg or eps of the artwork we should be able to cut out vinyls very quickly.
However, if the image is a jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, low quality and blurry, we may have to trace the file by hand to create smooth lines to cut vinyl with. There would be an artwork charge for this.

 

Can you help with social media for my webpages?

If we have your logos on file we can save jpgs & gifs for you to use on social media websites as avatars, headers and banners.
